WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon arrival at The Champions Edge Recovery & Well-being you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff who will look after you and run you through the treatment, keeping you safe and ensuring that you have a great experience. The first part of the session will include watching an informative briefing video which will tell you everything you need to know about cryotherapy. You will be given a pair of gloves, socks, shoes and a bath robe which you must put on prior to entering the cryosauna. Male clients will be asked to wear bathing shorts or underwear, female clients will be asked to wear bathing shorts and a sports bra/ top or underwear. The robe will be worn until you enter the machine and will be given back to you before you get out in order to maintain personal privacy.

The cryotherapy treatment lasts a whole of 3 minutes, surrounding your body with collagen boosting liquid nitrogen gas at a temperature of (-90°) – (-120°) depending on the client. You will have the option to choose a song or just have a chat with our friendly staff member. Once the session is complete you will step onto a vibration machine for 1 minute to get the blood circulation going again and let the benefits of cryotherapy really kick in.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored: 1 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 1 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

NO SHOWS

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.

LATE NOTICE

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible to pay for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
